A Sample Narrative

John lived in a small town in England. He was born in 1971. His father was a businessman and John grew up in a big house. He went to an expensive private school because his father wanted him to have good education. John didn’t study hard because he liked playing games with his friends.

After finishing high school, John went to university to study engineering. He still didn’t study hard and his father stopped supporting him financially. At the same time, John fell in love with a beautifil Chinese young girl who was studying medicine. The girl influenced him to do his best and study hard. She made him change his mind about study.

After that, John started to study and work hard. He got a part-time job working in a restaurant. He saved some money and then bought a new car. He went back to study and graduated with honours. He got a degree in engineering. He applied to get a job at a very big company. He went for an interview and got the job successfully.
After getting the job, his income was enough to get married. He decided to propose to his his girlfriend whom he met at university.

In 1998, John and his girlfriend had a wedding ceremony in a big hotel in London. Now they have two kids and his father is proud of him and they lived happily ever after.
