I came across a web page on the internet from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission to warn people about money transfer scams.
Money transfer scams asks people to transfer money from their bank accounts to a nominated account on the promise that they will end up getting heaps of money in a short time. The person who sends the money falls victim to these scams and normally ends up losing some money.
Have a look on the web page and if you receive one of these emails, don't be fooled by it. There are links on the web page to report money transfer scams. It is really a good piece of reading to improve your English. If you are not sure about any of the vocabulary in the text, ask me in class.
