Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson was a great American singer and dancer. He died of a heart attack at his Los Angles home in 2009. The news of his death shocked the world. Doctors at the hospital he was taken to spent over an hour trying to save his life but they couldn’t. Some people said that Michael Jackson was addicted to painkillers. Michael’s scalp was burnt many years ago when he was filming an advertisement for Pepsi and he couldn’t stand the pain. He needed very strong pain killers and became addicted to them.
Many people also said that his private doctor gave him an overdose of medicine and that is why he died. His family requested privacy but there was a huge media circus outside his hospital and his house.
Michael was about to start a singing tour of 50 concerts in London. He was also having a lot of financial problems because he used to spend a lot of money. He gave his private doctor a salary of 150,000 dollars a month.
Michael Jackson started singing at a young age and soon became the lead singer of a music band that included his brothers. That music band was called the Jackson 5. He was very talented and his songs soon became famous. He was also a very good dancer. People called him the King of Pop. Millions of people still remember his Moonwalk dance. Thousands of aspiring singers around the world wanted to be like him.
In 1982 his album “Thriller” became the biggest-selling album of all time. It has sold 65 million copies worldwide.
Michael Jackson also had a lot of troubles and people took him to court. They claimed that he was a paedophile. He settled an out of court case for 22 million dollars.
People around the world did not understand why he chose to change the colour of his skin and became a white man. His children are also white. He also displayed strange behaviour but on the stage he was the number one world star. His concerts were all sold out in a few minutes and people were ready to pay hundreds of dollars to get a ticket to see him on stage.
